Michelle Deck

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Deck has spent most of her professional career working in property and community management. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Management, Ms. Deck worked for one of Houston’s largest and most prestigious property management companies, learning everything from credit & collections to leasing and management. Ms. Deck was later offered a position with a national property management company and was in charge of developing their local operations which included the start of a background and credit check system as well as a debt reporting function.

In Austin, Texas, Ms. Deck built and ran her own commercial and residential janitorial service while still keeping one foot in the property management door by servicing many apartment complexes.

Ms. Deck and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 where she was able to transition from property management to community “association” management. Within a year, Ms. Deck acquired her state required CAM licensure and soon became manager of a master-planned and custom golf course community totaling over 10,000 units and with budgets totaling over eight million dollars annually. Because of her creativity and strong business skills, Ms. Deck was promoted to the position of Director of Account Services and was able generate additional revenue streams for the company she worked for. Ms. Deck worked diligently to acquire her Supervising Community Association Manager title; the highest designation available in the State of Nevada. Simultaneously, she obtained her license to be a Collection Manager by the State of Nevada.

Ms. Deck spent a great deal of her time volunteering for the Southern Highlands Charitable Foundation where she was instrumental in planning annual events including a 5K Run and Fall Festival to raise money for women and children in Southern Nevada.

Due to her strength as a manager, Ms. Deck was sought out by one of the largest management companies which serviced the Nevada/Utah market. As the Director of Community Management and Special Projects, and with a staff of nearly thirty managers and assistants under her supervision, Ms. Deck not only offered support and direction through training and mentoring, but she was also able to implement certain programs to benefit the company as a whole and increase their visibility in the community association management market.

In 2014, Ms. Deck became the Executive Director of the Nevada Association of Community Managers (NACM), a non-profit organization established for the purpose of assisting managers with education, support and career enhancing needs. Her passion for education and marketing took over and during her tenure in this organization, Ms. Deck was able to assist the Board of Directors in tripling their annual revenue as well as their membership, both from managers and vendor partners alike.

In 2016, Ms. Deck and her family moved back to Texas. She continued to work with NACM during the move and in February 2018, Ms. Deck went to work for the RealManage team in Houston. It was her goal to be the best Community Manager she could be while balancing her work life with her family life and to continue enjoying her community association management career.

In 2024, New Vision Community Management reached out to Ms. Deck and soon after, she accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer as well as assisting the CEO with Development and Acquisitions in the Texas market.

Ms. Deck’s future with New Vision includes expanding the company’s footprint into additional markets in other states, growing the corporate portfolio to a respectable size, and bringing all of her talents and experience to the executive table to provide new management tools to the clients we serve.
